Golf Etiquette

Few of us play golf, let alone enjoy taking 4 hours on a Sunday to play 18 holes. Yet, the sport is critical to the business world and our men love it. I am learning the game and urge you to do so as well - whether you want to keep your husband company or don't want to be the female left out on the business golf outing, then learn the game.

Here are a few lady specific tips while you are on the course:

• Wear the right outfit. You may not look your cutest, since golf clothes haven't gone through fashion week yet, but without the right outfit you may be kicked off the course. Remember a collared shirt and no jeans.
• Enjoy a round of beers. It gets hot out there and its a social event - both reasons to make at least one round of beers a critical part of the outing.
• Do not whine. As hot or as bored as you may get don't be a poor sport. It's cool to sit out a hole or two, but just do not complain or bail.
