Today FIFA announced the World Cup bids for 2018 and 2022. And the winners are....

2018 - RUSSIA

2022 - QATAR

Yes, you heard that right. A mob run country is getting the Cup in 2018 and even more shocking is Qatar's win over the United States in 2022! Does anyone know where Qatar is? Regardless, a World Cup in a desert sounds pretty unbearable to me. Someone must have really gotten some good bribes to let this one through.
