College Football Starts this Week!

If you didn't grow up in a college football town or attend a university with a serious college football program, you likely never followed the madness that is college football. So for the old fans out there and those new to the game, college football kicks off this Thursday, September 2nd. Here are some predictions for the season:

• Ohio State, Alabama (the defending champs), and Florida are the teams most likely to grab the two spots in the BCS Championship game in January.
• Boise State better make a run for the title or lose a few games and disappear. No one wants to keep hearing about them not getting their chance to win it all.
• USC may be a bit off the radar this season after suffering sanctions by the NCAA prohibiting them from attending a bowl game. Thank god - dont we all need a break from the USC hoopla?
• The Heisman Trophy (most outstanding player award) is completely up for grabs with no clear favorite.
