As an attorney I have gotten a good inside look into our country's legal system. Sadly, I have discovered that it is a disaster. My advice: avoid it at all costs.
Unfortunately, legendary Louisville men's basketball coach, Rick Pitino, was forced to go to court after sex with a 50 year old car show model, Kara Cunagin Sypher, went all wrong. The two had sex on a table in a closed Italian restaurant - yea, you heard that right - and then Sypher tried to extort Pitino.
One would think that the judgment finding Sypher guilty of extortion would be justice served for Pitino - wrong. Granted, he has escaped the rape charges Sypher filed against him as part of her extortion scheme, but only after smearing his image and putting him through a grueling year of reliving the sexual details of that night with the world.
So at the end of the day, Sypher got some fame (and despite being in jail she will come out on the other end with a book deal of some sort) and Pitino will never be revered the same way again. I mean its hard to not picture Pitino without the busted 50 year old car show model scandal coming to mind - couldn't he have done better?
