Some College Basketball Highlights:
- Duke's Coach K had his 800th win at Duke! He is the third coach to have that many wins at one school. Coach K's total win record is 873. Coach K is the only coach in history to win a college championship, World Championship, and Olympic Gold. His win count should continue to rise as Duke is a favorite again this year for the title.
- Something athletic for Skidmore and South Vermont to be proud of - the teams faced off with Skidmore taking the win in the 7th overtime! This ties an NCAA record for most overtime periods.
- Texas Coach, Rick Barnes, had his 500th win. He is the 50th coach in NCAA history to hit this milestone.
