One I Just Couldn't Ignore

Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. was arrested Friday in Las Vegas and charged with felony theft pertaining to a domestic violence complaint filed by Josie Harris, the mother of his three children. Big-time boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. was recently arrested for grand larceny. Sounds odd for a guy that makes millions to be convicted of stealing (there can only be so many Winona Ryders out there), so now that the police report is out, it is all becoming crystal clear.

Apparently, Mayweather attacked his 10 year old son and his baby's mama, Josie Harris, after finding text messages on her phone from Chicago Bulls player C.J. Watson whom Harris admitted to be currently "dating." The report alleges that Mayweather threatened to kill Harris and Watson as he beat up Harris in front of his son. Harris was later taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The larceny charge, however, stems from Mayweather leaving Harris's home with her iphone! Interesting that Mayweather had the forethought to take the phone as evidence of the text messages from Watson. Seems to me that he could have used some of this foresight to keep from beating Harris altogether!

Note: The picture of Mayweather is his mug shot from the incident. He looks a bit too put together and giddy, don't you think? I guess beating his baby's momma is just like another day in the ring for him. Sick.
